The railing
- The height of the railing is 1.4 m, which is suitable for cyclists so you don’t fly over if you cycle into it.
- The reflective tube with the red and yellow reflectors provides recognition from roadworks and the white segments are clearly visible even without lights when it starts to get dark.
- The reflective tube sits at a visible height suitable for cyclists. The reflective tubes that follow each other create a visual trail.
The net
- The small wind surface and the round shapes mean that the railing can withstand a lot of wind load, up to 4 times as much wind pressure as a traditional railing.
- The only 50 mm narrow mesh means that the railing is not climbable.
- They also ensure that you don’t hook into the bicycle handlebars so easily, and thanks to the fact that the net is offset towards the road user side, you also don’t hook into the frame of the railing.
- The soft curved corners are kind to road users.
The foot
- The foot can easily be driven over as it is only 8 mm thick to minimize edges and weight.
- It is Traffic Yellow for visibility and also sandblasted which creates an anti-slip surface.
- It is hot-dip galvanized to withstand the harsh environment it is in, such as road salt.
- The foot has holes in the ends to be able to fix it with screws in concrete or asphalt
- The tube at the bottom of the panel is at a height of 200 mm, which is optimal for the Teknikkäpp (White cane).
