Introducing SmartProtect Metro, a new generation “TA beam” that actually works for car traffic in urban environments and optimized safety for unprotected road users. With a height of 1.4m, SmartProtect Metro is class 3 according to SS7750, ensuring maximum protection for pedestrians, cyclists and other unprotected road users.

SmartProtect Metro is versatile and can be customized to suit your specific needs. In addition, the replaceable handrail offers several options, providing even more flexibility. With its low weight of 600 kg, compared to other traditional vehicle barriers and its “F-shape”, it is adapted for vehicle traffic in urban environments. The integrated stiffening beam automatically adjusts the straight sections and stiffens the system, and for angles there is an easy-to-mount brace. The fine mesh net provides safety for unprotected road users and the system is not climbable.

SmartProtect Metro is designed for practical handling with both forks, slings and Grab John. It can even be lifted with forks from the side up in the railing or below and from the end, which simplifies installation and handling.
Thanks to the coupling which is articulated over 90° in both directions and the centered lifting point, SmartProtect Metro can be easily mounted.

The system can be installed with a height difference of 100 mm and with a height angle of 3°, which gives a height difference of 150 mm on one element.

The system can be disassembled mid-track, making it easy to replace damaged parts or reconfigure your system as needed.
